Project | 01 A Garden that Feels Like a Hug
We worked with Adele to create an artful and functional garden for her multi-generational household to gather and play. A blend of geometric shapes and a selection of California natives came together to create a timeless space that felt both inviting yet contained. (Installed Summer 2022)

Project | 02 Bill's Lawn Conversion
We were lucky to work with Bill and his daughter Sabrina on their big DIY lawn-busting project! Drought-tolerant and California native Berkeley sedge replaced the thirsty, water-loving lawn joined by jewel-toned natives such as yarrow, penstemon, sagebrush, and coral bells. Congrats to our awesome clients whose hard work transformed their back yard into this true oasis for people and critters alike! (Installed 2021)

Project | 04 Elegant Cottage Update
It was a joy collaborating with Judy who has designed many homes over the course of her life. For her Menlo Park cottage renovation, she chose a pallet of silver plants to compliment the colors of her new home and stone walkways. Cottage favorites such as Rosa ‘Iceberg’, grow along the fence. Silver plants include: fruitless olive trees, Pittosporum ‘Marjorie Shannon’, coast rosemary (Westringia fruticosa), bush germander (Teucrium fruticans), liriope (Liriope muscari ‘Variegata’), variegated society garlic (Tulbaghia violacea ‘Variegata’), and silver and gold everlasting (Chrysocephalum apiculatum).
